Magic House

Walter took and extra day off work after his dad left town last week. We decided to use our family day to take Xavier to the Magic House for the first time. I was thrilled because I had really wanted to take him there but wasn't brave enough to do it on my own with both kids. Oh, and you better believe I had a coupon for 1 free admission. Do I go anywhere full price? Nope!

It was a beautiful day and we actually got out the door ON TIME. Did you read that correctly -- we were finally not late for once! We arrived just as it opened. There is a special area for kids under 6 that opens before everything else. We hit that area first, grabbed some lunch, then explored the rest of the exhibits. X was beat by the time we got towards the end. It was way past nap so we did a quick look at the last few things and headed for home before a major meltdown occurred!

Aside from an over priced kids meal that X wouldn't eat and me leaking through my shirt and trying (poorly) to cover it up with some stickers, it was a great day! It was so much fun to watch him explore and learn. Can't wait to go back when Wes is old enough to enjoy it too!
