Walter's grandparents just celebrated their 60th Wedding anniversary. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be married for 60 years. Hopefully I'll find out someday! So, Walter's dad came in town for the anniversary party, and to meet his newest grandchild! It was a fun week with "Grandpa Walter" and X took full advantage of having someone different to play with. On Saturday morning it was the Home Depot kids clinic so Walter Sr and Jr took X to build a rain gauge. This is the first workshop that I actually have pictures of since there was an extra set of hands to man the camera. How cute is my little guy in his orange apron!!!!

Later that weekend was the big anniversary luncheon. How cute are Grandma Gloria and Grandpa Al in their matching shirts!! (they love Hawaii and have been several times) You know what they say -- the longer you're married the more you start to look alike. Guess that includes the clothes too - haha!
X was working on his bartending skills while we waited for lunch to be served. He found himself a few glasses and was "stirin up" all sorts of stuff!
There was a yummy cake served after lunch.
The next night we went to dinner with Walter's family and had some fabulous fried chicken! Walter's grandma and I were certainly outnumbered since we were the only girls at dinner!
Four generations!
Grandpa Walter and X chattin away.

See you again soon Grandpa Walter!
