The Human Head Weighs 8 lbs.

Well, that was according to the kid in Jerry Maguire. But, X's head only weighs 6lbs. How do I know this? Well, when I got out of the shower this morning I looked over and saw X laying on the floor with his head on bathroom scale. And the digital read said 6lbs. Now, he did have one hand half on half off so I'm not sure if that was registering too. Maybe it's actually 5.5 lbs. Hmmm...guess his head is kinda big.

In other unrelated news, I don't like the picture that I have on the sidebar of our family. X looks like he has no eyes! I have the hardest time getting a good photo of the 3 of us. We haven't had a decent one since Christmas. I did have one posted from my uncle's wedding a few months ago and that one was nice, but we were so dressed up that I didn't feel like it was an accurate representation of who we are. The last time Walter wore that suit.......well, I think it was a funeral. We're t-shirt and jeans kinda folk, ya know. So my quest continues to get a decent family photo to put up. Don't hold your breath.

In more unrelated news, they are dredging the lake behind our house. It's really not lookin good right now. They've emptied most of it. I had no idea how shallow it actually is. I'm not sure that even qualifies as a "lake" but more of just a massive puddle. So now there is just this sludge everywhere that supposedly will be removed. I feel bad for the people a few doors down that have their house on the market right now. This doesn't really make "lake view" a big selling point at the moment.
