Baby Mama and Cobbler

Now that we are parents of a child who goes to bed at 8pm it doesn't leave much for nightlife. So, last Friday night our exciting outing was walking from the kitchen to the living room. We watched Baby Mama, which I thought was pretty funny and would recommend.

And what goes better with a movie than a dish of peach cobbler. This is the EASIEST thing you will ever bake.

Here is the recipe....
1 Jiffy Yellow Cake mix
1 lb frozen peaches (ours were from our very own peach crop this past summer!)
1 cup diet sprite (or regular if you want the added calories)

Spread the frozen peaches on the bottom of an 8x8 pan.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the peaches.
Pour the soda over the mix.
Bake 30 minutes covered at 350.
Bake an additional 40 minutes uncovered at 350.

Let cool and enjoy! This is also fabulous with frozen mixed berries instead of peaches.
