What is This Thing???

Wes doesn't eat real food yet, but the other night at dinner he was getting a little restless in the Bumbo so I gave him a green bean to play with. Of course it went straight to his mouth, as everything does, but he wasn't quite sure of the taste and texture. It's ironic to me that the kid will try to chew on a cardboard cereal box without a flinch but makes a strange face when given a piece of actual food.

Wes is currently on Amoxicillan for a sinus infection. Yeah, let me tell you how much fun it is trying to get a kid that's had nothing but breast milk for 4.5 months to open wide for a syringe of pink goo. He's not diggin it!
